Name: Patrick Location: Paulding County, Georgia, United States Birthday: 3/17/1989 Gender: Male
Interests: God. I enjoy having my buddies garret and nick over and running around late at night, sitting in the street eating ramen noodles, or drinking coffee. I work on Electronica music for my band with my partner in crime garret womack late at night. I enjoy sitting outside at night even by myself.
spending the long hours of the night in my house drinking coffee and talking to friends.
I have been told I am an excellent drummer, I dabble in bass and guitar and keyboards aswell.
Coffee is the life-force I run on. I like coffee, not the companies or places that serve it (even though i frequent coffee places alot...odd)
I enjoy anything by Chuck Palahniuk, he's the man, and you should all know that.
I love the venues of atlanta...they are all great, especially that old cotton club.

| hey, its been awhile since i posted last.
things have been going good, i must say.
i would be lying if i said i havent posted this because i've been too busy, i thought everyone moved onto myspace (thats the REAL reason why).
well in a re-cap of things that have happened since school let out (i'm probably missing some things here.)
i've been able to keep myself occupied all summer long between seeing friends, being with lexie, and summer school. I've gone to a few shows, saw tilly and the wall, saw the phenomenauts, both were aweeeesome =).
i hung out with garret for the first time in MONTHS awhile back, that was alot of fun, it sucks not keeping in touch with friends...i dont recommend it.
summerschool hasnt been all that bad, i have met some pretty cool people from other schools in there, semi-good times.
been eating up gas all summer, when the school year starts it will be nice in the sense that i wont be so tempted to go drive places as much.
I've pretty much lost my steam with getting into SCAD, no no no i didn't "GIVE UP," giving up i believe would mean i thought i didnt want to put forth the effort into getting my stuff together...no....the reason i am not going to apply pretty much is well, I already have enough money to pay for the majority of it but i wont have enough for the last couple years, i would HAVE to take a bitch load of loans even after scholarships and what not.
in a nutshell, i would have a ridiculous (too ridiculous for me to write the actual sum of money here) amount of loans to pay off after graduation, and quite frankly i dont want that...if i go to a normal state university i won't have any debt at all...i just cant walk away from an opportunity like that, besides i know i will have just as much fun. =( sadly i wont be cool dorm mates with nicole, haha.
speaking of savannah, i just flew in from there a few hours ago today. I was there all weekend at the beach, it was pretty fun, emily (brian's girlfriend) is living in a house down the street from where we were over the summer with her cousin that goes to SCAD, so me and brian spent the night over at her place, i met some funny friends of theirs that also attend scad. we were gettin our drink on at the beach. major pukeage on part, the past 2 days whenever i see a parrot bay rum commercial i want to hurl, BUT it was fun, none the less.
I hope senior year doesn't end up being alot of people not talking to eachother. I miss talking to alot of the people i hung out with in my freshman year, what happened?!
=/ I've stumbled across some money and i want to blow it at one of the record stores in little five, or get my ears gauged. Anyone feel like coming with? we can go SHOPPPPINGGGGGG! (how fabulous).

i think lexie sucks at drawing langston.

i think mine represented the TRUE langston.

| went to the eyedrum tonight with lexie, raylen(spell check?), ran into chris and his sister...good times!
aside from getting lost like usual in atlanta it was really really
awesome, the eyedrum is like an art gallery that hosts ALL kinds of
events whether it is art, film, music, you name it. there was some
really interesting stuff in the gallery but we went there tonight
because the brunettes and au revoir simone were playing, they were both
amazing along with the other bands that played.
WRAS 88.5 college radio hosted the event tonight, which was AWESOME
because i listen to 88.5 all the damn time, got a nifty license plate
holder and stickersssssss! ^_^
and then waffle house, 2 cups of coffee....WIREDDDD !!!

| its fun to search through old books for my fav highlighted quotes. another from choke.
a long one.
"I mean, i'm just tired of being wrong all the time just because I'm a guy.
I mean, how many times can everybody tell you that
you're the oppressive, prejudiced enemy before you give up and become
the enemy. I mean, a male chauvinist pig isn't born, he's made, and
more and more of them are being made by women.
after long enough, you just roll over and accept the
fact that you're a sexist, bigoted, insensitive, crude, cretinist
cretin. Women are right. You're Wrong. You get used to the idea. You
live down to expectations.
Even if the shoe doesn't fit, you'll shrink into it.
I mean, in a world without God, aren't mothers the
new god? The last sacred unassailable position. Isn't motherhood the
last perfect magical miracle? But a miracle that's impossible for men.
And maybe men say they're glad not to give birth,
all the pain and blood, but really that's just so much sour grapes. For
sure, men can't do anything near as incredible. Upper body strength,
abstract thought, phalluses - any advantages men appear to have are
pretty token.
You can't even hammer a nail with a phallus.
Women are already born so far ahead ability-wise.
The day men can give birth, that's when we can start talking about
equal rights."
